Curing Obesity With Ayurveda

People all over the world has turned towards alternative and complementary medicines among which Ayurveda has found a resurgence. Ayurveda is an age old traditional natural healing method of India.

Ayurveda, takes a personalised approach towards patients. This traditional medical system helps people led a long healthy life without any drugs, complex surgeries and painful recoveries. It takes a holistic approach towards each’s symptoms concerning their situations and conditions. It offers mankind preventive medical advice. It addresses the individual as a whole – the body, mind and spirit, thereby providing them with an optimal health solution. The Ayurvedic medicine is purely natural which doesn’t create the risk of side effects.

Obesity is a common disorder of humankind that is caused due to the accumulation of fat. According to Ayurveda it is an imbalance of dhosas – Vata, Pitta and Kapha. Obesity is termed as “Medarog” in Ayurveda. Basically, it is the accumulation of Kapha in body. Kapha is a heavy, slow, dense and sticky fluid that is responsible for lubrication in the body. In a healthy state, Kapha gives nourishment to the whole body through microchannels. In a provoked state, it produces toxins that stores in these small channels and causes the accumulation of excess fat.

The treatment plan is multidimensional:

  • The Kapha is pacified in the body by reducing Kapha aggravating foods
  • The microchannels are cleansed of toxins, and a free flow of nutrients is enabled
  • The metabolism is restored and the Agni, the digestive fire is stimulated
  • Production of fat is treated with toxin-burning herbs

Ayurveda and other traditional methods treat the cause of the disease instead of just pacifying the symptoms. Each would have a unique composition of humour Vata, Pitta and Kapha. The treatment plan is charted after analysis of each and their root cause of the problem.

“I lost nearly 9 kgs in just three months,” says Gill Chopra ” Since the problem specific to my body was recognised and treated in Ayurveda, I was able to recover soon and find a permanent solution to my ailment”. He cheerfully adds ” I would certainly recommend all my friends to Ayurveda henceforth!”

Chopra was nearly 91 kgs with 5 feet height. He was doubtful about the success of this treatment because he was desperately trying to lose weight for nearly 8 years through all methods without success. After complete analysis and symptomatic information of Chopra’s health, a treatment plan was drafted which eliminated the root of his problem thereby enabling quick weight loss.

Ayurclinic provides you with a wholesome treatment plan for obesity which not only manage your ailment but also enables a relaxed, happy and healthy lifestyle.
